Benefits of group riding
Learning and fun is enhanced as students learn from each other. Your “classroom” is the uncrowded, scenic roads of Western New England.
Group training tours are a social experience where you share the tour with like-minded riders and learn as a group. The tour is for 3 or 4 riders.
Provided Sena Bluetooth helmet communicators allow immediate and meaningful coaching in real-time.
Cost
1 Day Group Training: $600 per rider
Scholarships are available for all courses!!
Many insurance companies accept the Riding in the Zone completion certificate as proof of rider training that is eligible for insurance discounts.
Requirements
- You must have a current motorcycle endorsement, as well as a legally insured and registered motorcycle.
- You must also have current health insurance and sign a liability waiver.
- Have about a season (2- 3,000 miles total) of riding experience. This is not a course for raw beginners. Students are wise to take the MSF Basic RiderCourse or have an equivalent level of skill before signing up.
- You gotta wear full gear (see below).
Skill Level
Group training follows a flexible curriculum. The curriculum is appropriate for all “experienced” riders, but depending on your ability you may need to be patient with your fellow students as their skills develop. And if you’re less experienced, no worries. I customize the day to meet everyone’s needs.
What to Bring
- Riding Gear (required at all times)
- DOT-approved helmet
- eye protection (windshields do not count as eye protection)
- motorcycle jacket,
- long pants (armored motorcycle pants preferred)
- full coverage gloves
- sturdy, over-the-ankle boots.
- Communicators: If you have an existing SENA (20s, 30K, 50 series) Bluetooth communication system, please keep it in your helmet.
