“Just walked in the door after riding back home to Maine. The competence I had riding home is all because of the amazing training day Ken and Tony have fine tuned over many years. Besides being a lot of fun, it’s an education every rider should get. “– Cooper Dragonette
“It is amazing what Ken, Tony and team pull together! Thanks for the fantastic day of learning, practicing and just becoming better, safer motorcycle riders. See you next year.”– Christoph Winter
“You put on a top notch event. I’m so glad to have been a part of it”.- Rosalind Stearns
“If you’ve been on the fence about doing the non sport bike “track” day, which has recently been rebranded as Advanced Street Rider Training Day, do yourself a favor and do it. Go ahead and put it in your calendar now. Yeah, I know the dates haven’t been announced yet but historically it’s the last Tuesday in May, after Memorial Day. Ken Condon will correct me if I’m wrong. You owe it to yourself to give it ago.
Ross Bentz couldn’t have said it better: training at Palmer is the most fun that you can have on a motorcycle! It really doesn’t matter what you ride – you will be smiling like a fool. It’s like riding your very favorite road all day, but the pavement is perfect. And there’s no traffic, sand, oil, water, grass clippings, police officers, deer, speed limit, or even cars or trucks of any kind. This must be what it’s like if you’re a motorcyclist and you get into heaven. There’s zero pressure zero competition, and zero judgment. All types of bikes and riders are welcome. “– Karen Salemi
“I’ll add this. The riding coachs/instructors are wonderful and very helpful. Ask them anything and you will get an answer you can understand. I’ve been three times and looking forward to attending in the future.”– Ron Ahlstedt
“A thousand times: yes! It was a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, with no pressure to go fast or on racing. The instructors are friendly, knowledgeable and approachable. Classrooms after every session were invaluable while the track was fresh in our minds.
Learned a ton about technique, myself, and bike. I already saw a difference in how I approached corners on the ride home; I managed a double-ess easily and giggled in my helmet. Will definitely be back for both next year.”– Benjamin Griffin
“There were a few times I was laughing out loud on the Track. Gained some real skills & had fun doing it!” -Bill Kelly
“Just want to add that this was my second time attending this event. My wife’s first, which was a gift that I gave her weeks ago. She would never have signed up herself thinking it would never be for her. She was nervous the entire week before and even more so that morning. I mean CRAZY nervous. Everyone at this training is professional, making it all about learning to operate a motorcycle safely within speeds that we ride in every day. But here we have the opportunity to learn, be coached, ask questions and go back out to try again right after. These guys are simply the best. Everyone should give this a try to see for themselves. Oh, and my wife took her helmet off after the first session with a big smile on her face. After the third session she simply said this is a great day. If you don’t think it’s for you, you’re missing out. Thanks Ken, Tony and all of your wonderful assistants who make this a great experience.”– Neil Kuzio
“I know I say this every track day, but today was special. It was the first time my son has ridden track. The track managers allowed me to hop into the red group so I could ride with Trueb and Todd. It was so great to see them both excelling so well! Today was the best track day simply because I got to share something I’m passionate about with two people I love and I witnessed their joy in the experience. BEST. DAY. EVER!! Thank you, Ken, Tony, and the entire crew!” – Dana Duellman
“Just wanted to give a shout to all of you who worked at the 8/1/23 – Advanced street rider training day at Palmer Tuesday. THANK YOU ALL..
I have known Ken Condon & Tony I for 20-25 years, did two SNRE track days in early/ mid 2000’s & a parking lot course & I believe Ken, Tony & Super Dave were involved in those. I try to read and practice a lot of Ken’s in the Zone materials, It has helped me as I age and being very close to 70. I need to stay on top of my game with education.
My first lap at the Advanced Street Rider Training Day .. was a bit scary, but I slowly started working on my hit list of area’s I wanted to improve. I have been riding motorcycles almost 50 years, but the last 3-4 years since moving to South Carolina have mostly been on some super special roads in North Carolina Blue ridge mountains and bring retired I have put close to 20,000 miles per year into my tool box. Ken’s talks online over the past two years have given me some amazing tips. Trail-braking into corners was high on my list to work more on , as was position on my bikes, reading the road, getting on the balls of my feet, & more confidence in the corners.
I feel I improved in all of these area’s with corner confidence a huge gain..
